Four U.S. Marines reunited to recreate a photo that was taken 50 years earlier. On the beaches of Palm Coast, Florida the veterans gathered together for the first time together in decades, posing just as they did decades ago.

Bob Falk, 71, Dennis Puleo, 69,Tom Hanks, 69 and Bob DeVenezia, 70 gathered together, posing just as they did when they were in their late teens and early 20’s just ahead of the Vietnam War.

The U.S. Marines initially took the photo in Oceanside, Calif. in 1966 when they were stationed at Camp Pendleton, outside San Diego where they trained together in the weapons platoon. When they were each deployed for the Vietnam War, they were separated.

Post-war they all went their separate ways, getting married, having kids and pursuing careers.

It was not until this photo recreation that all four U.S. Marine buddies were back together again.
