According to Today.com, The DeAngelo Williams Foundation will cover the cost of 53 mammograms at hospitals in Pittsburgh and Charlotte, North Carolina.

“It’s not just about October for me; it’s not just a month, it’s a lifestyle,” Williams said. “It’s about getting women to recognize to get tested,” he told ESPN. Williams chooses to wear pink year-round, telling viewers in a video for NFL.com that he paints his toenails pink and dyes the tips of hair pink explaining, “Pink is not a color, it’s a culture for me. I’ll wear the color pink on the field for the rest of my career.”
