Utilize these 5 exercises into your workout routine to lose those love handles and melt away your muffin top!

1. Side Plank

A step up from the regular plank, the side plank targets your obliques and engages your whole body. Step it up even further and add a dip, dipping your hip to the mat and raising up to starting position. Alternate on each side.

2. Russian Twists

Sit on the floor with feet slightly elevated. Take a weight or medicine ball and twist back and forth fully engaging your core.

3. Bicycle Crunches

Lie with your back flat on your mat with hands behind your head. Crunch up and touch your right elbow to your left knee and back down. Rotate to opposite side. Be sure to engage your core, lift from your shoulder blades and avoid pulling on the neck.

4. Side Bend

Stand with feet should width apart holding weights in each hand. Bend slightly to one side bringing the weight down toward your knee. Make sure to engage your core and not your lower back.


5. Wood Chopper

Stand with your feet shoulder distance apart. Grab a light weight or medicine ball and squat down so that your hands are located just outside your right ankle. In one fluid motion pull arms up together toward your left shoulder and twist your torso to engage your core. Rotate and Repeat.
