John Cena accomplished a milestone achievement, granting his 500th wish for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The organization strives to “grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition” according to the foundation’s website.

The pro wrestler has been recognized for being a celebrity and granting the most wishes. Cena’s 500th wish was granted to super fan Rocco Lanzer.
Cena and 8-year-old Rocco, who was diagnosed with Leukemia, appeared on the Today show to talk about Lanzer’s wish and Cena’s involvement with the charity.
Rocco explained Cena had come to visit him in the hospital, but Rocco was unable to meet with him as he wasn’t feeling his best. Rooco got his chance to meet with Cena in person on the Today show and also invited him to “Monday Night Raw” where he got to see his idol sitting ring-side.
Rocco spoke of Cena on the Today show claiming, “He’s nice and strong and inspirational. He reminds kids to never give up.”
